On September 3rd, 2025, the 3rd annual Global Youth Fitness Forum was held online. The aim of the meeting was to gather a group of international experts interested in child and youth fitness surveillance and monitoring.

The 3rd Global Youth Fitness Forum brought together international leaders to review the latest findings in youth fitness and to develop a collaborative roadmap for global surveillance and research. The forum featured over 9 presentations where experts from various countries shared their latest research, including the lasting effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The forum fostered open communication and collaboration among experts, emphasizing the importance of aligning methodologies and unifying approaches to youth physical fitness surveillance. By creating a common framework, participants highlighted the need for comparable data across countries, enabling stronger evidence to guide global strategies and policies aimed at improving youth fitness.
