Acknowledgements

FitBack acknowledges the contribution of all the authors and organisations that conducted the fitness studies and agreed to share their datasets which have acted as the empirical backbone to generating the FitBack European fitness reference values. See the author’s groups contributing with links to the articles/websites. The FitBack consortium would especially like to thank the generous support and contributions of Dr. Grant Tomkinson from University of North Dakota, for sharing pseudo-data (using Monte-Carlo simulation), generated from his research team’s previously-collected European datasets and descriptive data on child physical fitness with the FitBack consortium.
