FitBack conference 2022

How does on establish an effective physical fitness monitoring system?

The FitBack conference 2022 disseminated state-of-the art knowledge on how to establish an effective physical fitness monitoring system to international delegates both in person and via web stream.

On Monday, May 23, as part of the FitBack project, we held the 1st International Conference entitled: "How do you establish an effective physical fitness monitoring system?".

More than 10 experts from various European countries attended the conference, joined by Dr. Steven Whiting from the World Health Organization and Dr. Justin Lang, a renowned Canadian expert on physical fitness and children's health.

About 80 domestic and foreign participants listened to the lectures live, and another 100 or so joined them online. In the morning we listened to lectures on the FitBack project, the importance of monitoring physical fitness, European children's fitness, and tips for improving it. We continued in the second session to review good practices in Europe, learned about the process of setting up our own fitness fitness monitoring system, and learned about how to store and process such data. Finally, we listened to an interesting round table discussion, where experts exchanged views and experiences on monitoring physical fitness, its importance and changing the performance of children.
